The brief moments between train arrival and departure times brings a feeling of serenity in a somewhat dystopian atmosphere. as there are just a few people in and around the station, although... In a few minutes, this beautiful bridge pass way was then full of people arriving from Euston. Where are they going? I do not know, but likely home after a long work day. The majority with headphones on while they stride with determination. would not recommend attempting to start a conversation with any of the arrivals because you'll likely be met with a cold and dismissive response. It is something you grow to love while living in London - everyone tends to mind their own business - I feel there is a mutual understanding between the general population that life here is tough, and everyone must soldier on in the most efficient way possible.
The hoards of passengers swiftly move in unison like a school of fish through the passageways, up the stairs towards the bridge, around the corner and the finally out of the station.
The moon glows against the deep blue sky as a train quickly passes by. The sky in the distance a pinkish red. There is something beautiful about the scenery we all tend to ignore during our busy days. It is worth stopping and looking around once in a while.
A train arrives and the doors vrooomf open rather loudly, graffiti is splashed across one section of the train and for some odd reason - it simply works. Well done to those artists!
